Flow with purpose
A fundraising yoga class in support of Zonta House.
This class is an open invitation to move, breathe, and come together as a community. I’ve wanted to create something like this for a long time — a space where we can come together through movement while supporting a cause close to my heart. This class is being held to raise support and awareness for women and children seeking refuge from domestic violence through Zonta House, while also creating a moment to slow down, reconnect, and come back to the body. There is something really powerful about moving in community. About pausing. Breathing. Remembering we’re not doing life alone. I truly believe that the way we relate to ourselves ripples outward into our relationships, homes, and communities. Yoga can gently shift the relationship we have with ourselves — and maybe the safe spaces we wish to see in the world can begin in small ways, right here.
What to expect
We’ll move through a slow 60-minute Vinyasa practice with a strong focus on breath, presence, and meeting yourself exactly where you are. The intention of this class is to create a space to share yoga in a way that goes beyond just movement. No prior yoga experience is needed, and no need to be in any specific way to receive the benefits of the practice — simply showing up is already enough. We’ll move, breathe, slow down, and leave feeling a little more grounded, connected and restored. After class, there’ll be space to stay, connect, sip something warm, or simply hang around for a little chit-chat.
How to contribute
This is a donation-based class, so please bring yourself, your energy, and whatever financial contribution feels accessible to you. All funds raised will go directly to supporting the sanctuary and services provided by Zonta House.
A donation link will be shared at the end of class.
